What is TuKoKe competition

The TuKoKe competition is aimed at children and young people aged 4–20 years who are interested in science and technology. There are no limits as to the scientific discipline or group size. You can enter with a study, a project, or an invention by yourself or as a group.

The registration period ends on 01 February each year.

Final event in April

 Some of the competition entries will be invited to the final event which is the culmination of TuKoKe. The final event takes place yearly in April.

Feedback for every project

 In TuKoKe, each participant receives expert feedback on their work. It will help you assess your own skills and abilities and what you have learned. You are also given tips how to improve your project.

Organizers

TuKoKe is organised by the Development Centre Opinkirjo and TEK, the organisation for academic engineers and architects in Finland. The name TuKoKe is an abbreviation of the verbs “tutki, kokeile, kehitä” meaning “explore, experiment, develop”.

TuKoKe’s language

 TuKoKe’s main language is Finnish, but entries in Swedish and English are also welcome.
